Meetings every Friday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at First Christian Church on the corner of Marion and Cottage in Salem, Oregon. Just For Fun Singers is not affiliated with First Christian Church.

Tuition:

Tuition is $30.00 for each of the Fall, Winter and Spring quarters; we do not meet during the Summer.

About

The Just For Fun Singers was founded in 1993. It is a non-profit, non-denominational community chorus based in Salem, Oregon. Under the direction of Judy Dyer, this 70+ voice chorus performs at many church, civic and community events throughout the year.

We sing a wide variety of music, from religious and gospel to folk and Broadway. The singers range in age from 50 to 94 and all believe that music will always keep them young at heart. We perform at no cost, but will always accept donations.

Tours

The Just For Fun Singers have gone on two tours.

• In 2003 they went on a 13 day tour of Europe, including Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. They sang in churches, cathedrals and retirement centers.
  
• In the Fall of 2007 they went on a 5 day tour in Southern Oregon, singing at retirement centers and a church.

In the Salem area they sing for civic groups, community events, retirement centers and at the Oregon State Capitol Building's Christmas concerts.
